It is always a special treat when I have the pleasure of photographing friends of past clients. Upon a warm summer day in Sacramento, I photographed a sweet bride and groom at their Wolfe Heights wedding. Melanie, a friend of the bride, was a bridesmaid and such a ray of warmth and joy at the wedding. During cocktail hour, I found out that she had recently got engaged. They were in the process of figuring out her wedding vision and vendors. We got to chatting and later that month, Melanie and Zach booked me for their big day. Not only do I get to see a lot of the same lovely souls at their wedding next year including my past bride and groom, I get to hang out with these two cuties again at their St Helena Winery Engagement Session.

From a variety of wineries and stunning architecture, there are a lot of spots for a St Helena Engagement Session. We love V Sattui winery in particular for both of those reasons.
