In the heat of California summer, Brianna and Dylan tied the knot right outside of California’s Capital City of Sacramento at the picturesque Wolfe Heights Event Center. What could only be described as a splash of color, champagne, and love of all things fresh in summer culminated in a romantic and sweet wedding day. Designed by the outstanding team of Jenn Robirds Events, you won’t want to miss it. And this beautiful Wolfe Heights Wedding is featured on Carats and Cake today.
Brianna knew she wanted coral charm peonies and bright floral but wasn’t sure how to pull the vision together. Jenn Robirds Events curated a design that played homage to the venues Italian landscape and incorporated vibrant summer citrus in the design. Petite and playful kumquats were the star of the show in much of the design.
Custom stationery by Little Bird Paper Company was guests’ first glimpse into the fun summer soiree that was to come. Inspired by the juicy and fresh colors of summer citrus and balanced with green tones like in the olive branch, guests were invited to Brianna and Dylan’s gathering via an invitation suite complete with custom wax seals, watercolor designs, hand-written calligraphy and modern touches of vellum. Little Bird flawlessly carried these touches throughout the day with the couple’s menus and placecards as well for their Wolfe Heights Wedding.
An evening well spent
As guests arrived to this colorful Wolfe Heights Wedding they were greeted with the couple’s signature drink, a citrus sangria garnished with an adorable kumquat slice hung by a rose gold clip. Guests watched Bri and Dylan say ‘I Do’ in a “ceremony in the round” setting. Complete with draping and colorful florals by Violette Fleurs, the bride walked down the aisle to see her groom for the first time, carrying a lush and vibrant bouquet inspired by all the summer fruits.
Before heading to their al fresco dinner overlooking the willow trees of Wolfe Heights, guests were treated to champagne, complete with a champagne wall adorned “Sip and Be Seated” in calligraphy by Shimmer and Stain, as well as individual laser embossed calligraphy champagne toppers to guide them to their seats. Lining Wolfe Heights’ patio with a mix of farm tables and rounds, guests dined family-style with Farm to Table Catering, seated in wooden cross back chairs, and surrounded by colorful florals and the summer fruits they were inspired by. Linens from La Tavola provided an extra pop of color and drew guests’ eye to the cake table, featuring a stunningly classic two-tier cake covered in summer florals by Freeport Bakery. Guests completed the evening with a wide array of sweet treats before dancing the night away under the stars.
