A recreation of their past. That is what that moment was intended to be – and that it was. You see, three years before, they had visited the happiest place on Earth for a fun trip as a couple. But little did Amy know back then, they would return and share an even more significant moment – a proposal. In the exact same spot they took a picture three years prior, that hung in their home, Josh got down on one knee and proposed. Which is what ultimately lead to their beautiful Pheasant Trek Wedding with Tan Weddings and Events.
Now, being a pandemic bride is certainly not easy. Amy and Josh had to weather a lot of storms in the planning process, a lot of unknowns, a lot of change too. Ultimately, after a whole host of changes, they were able to have their perfect Pheasant Trek Wedding this summer with Tan Weddings and Events carefully guiding the process. And I am so honored I got to be a part of it.
Amy and Josh, Thank you for inviting me into your love story. From your Folsom Lake Engagement Session to hearing about your travels and home buying and more, I have loved getting to spend time with you two. And it was even more special to get to capture your Pheasant Trek Wedding day, amidst trials and a lot of heat too. You two looked absolutely amazing and it was a day full of love with your favorite people. I cannot wait to see where life takes you two! And I love that you also grabbed an heirloom album of this gorgeous day too.

Creative Team
Amy and Josh’s adjusted pandemic wedding came together with the help of an amazing creative team, lead by Tan Weddings and Events. Amy and Josh tied the knot at Pheasant Trek at Dunnigan Hills. The bride looked amazing in a Wtoo by Watters gown from Miosa Bride with makeup by Kimmi Gustafson and Hair by Emily Danelle. Her bridesmaids looked amazing in White by Vera Wang bridesmaids gowns. The ladies completed their looks with colorful bouquets and florals from Visual Impact Design. Josh and his groomsmen stunned in tuxedos from Calvin Klein from Men’s Warehouse. Amy and Josh tied the know in the vineyards, officiated by WedWordy.
A perfect wedding day included rentals from Celebrations Party Rentals and specialty rentals from Blossom Farm Vintage Rentals. Their mobile bar from Belle Aventure provided gorgeous cocktails for the guests, adorned with Cache Creek Lavender Farm lavender sprigs. A delicious Freeport Bakery cake provided a sweet treat after dinner too. The party kept going after dinner thanks to Function 45 DJ.
